Bermuda 2012

In May 2012, seventeen members of the EPS Pipes and Drums traveled to Bermuda to participate in a number of activities including the Bermuda Day Parade on May 24th. Thousands of people crowded the streets of Hamilton to witness the Bermuda Day Parade. Dancers, drummers and dozens of parade floats along with elaborate costumes and even more elaborate floats marked the festivities.

The band was hosted in Bermuda by Sgt. Adrian Cook from the Bermuda Police Service who is also the bass drummer for the Bermuda Islands Pipe Band. The Pipes and Drums of the EPS were fortunate to play with the Bermuda Islands Pipe Band on several occasions. The band enjoyed the camaraderie and friendship extended by the Bermuda Islands Pipe Band, the Bermuda Police Service and especially the Cook family. Check out the Bermuda Islands Pipe Band website at www.bipb.bm.
